WP1 creates demonstrator concepts, defines user cases to a detailed level, orientates the technology development and benchmarks technological building blocks . The objectives of WP1 are

• Define application-user cases and requirement specifications to a detailed level for industrial production in WP5
• Benchmark state-of-the-art building blocks and architectures (defined in WPs 2&3) and align with user cases
• Define key technologies and partner value chains for each concept demonstrator, inputting to WPs 2 to 5
• Identify technology element synergies between user cases and make co-development plans (input to WP4 & 5)
• Analyse user case requirements and chosen technologies: organic photovoltaics (OPV) size and power; supercapacitor (SC) size and power; power management integrated circuit (PMIC) integration; energy requirements for the two demonstrator units targeted manufactured in WP5 at TRL7
